Could have been ok except for the entirely fanciful helicopter car chase, I mean really over the top!

Anything with the great and fabulous Diane "Mini Skirt Mob" McBain in it is always worth watching. Add in Yvette Mimieux, Yvonne De Carlo and Christopher George and you have a sure shot. Not cool though when Mr. George says to Ms. Mimieux that there is no law against raping your own wife, as this sounds gauche, tacky, and inappropriate.

Bond audition film. Roger Moore was wanted for Diamonds are Forever, but signed on with The Saint instead.

The poem this movie is loosely based on “The Wild Party” by Joseph March is a fantastic piece of narrative poetry which caused quite the scandal when it was published in 1928.

Perry King made a cuckold out of James Coco with Raquel Welch. Alpha male and Alpha female exhibitionists couple. Didn't mind seeing the Asshole strutting Dale Sword character getting plugged.

The recently departed (then) fading 60s starlets Yvette Mimieux(looking unattractive as a brunett) and Diane McBain plus Yvonne DeCarlo in a very brief camo provide mild interest in this overlong spy stinker. Spillane's lovely wife , Sherri also sings well and provides an interesting Ann-Margret imitation.

The significance of the very elementary insights of this picture for those who want to think about the George Floyd riots at more than a superficial level should be clear.

The Wild Party (1975) / 5.3 With the arrival of talking pictures, a silent film comedian (a Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle-type) throws a lavish party to try and save his failing career. His plan is to release one last, great silent masterpiece.

Right from the start I LOVE the clothes, hair, and all the other crazy things going on in 1969.

although its funny seeing "M" in this (Benard Lee) the plot gets a bit lost if the bad guys aim to assassinate a dictator, although I might have gone to sleep.. the similarities tween 1969 & now according to this , that the general public didn't/don't care about peace marches then or genodice in Gaza now...?

MOore suits the role, much Moore than he did as a plastic codedy Bond, was a a good entertainer but difficult to take seriously like the wooden acting in much of this ..comedy>?

The Swinging Sixties in London, when naïveté ruled, the girl’s skirts were mini, and we had charmers like Roger Moore to entertain us. He was the perfect “saint.” Even the “sex” scenes were a good laugh!

I don't normally like movies with Roger Moore but this is a lot better than the Bond or Saint movies. Same old story though. The Bolsheviks in high places. Even Just Stop Oil. Moving us closer and closer to communism.

Sorry but this movie sucked. YT, stop recommending it.

I love this movie so much! Rip Torn and Ann Wedgeworth were my parents and it's so wonderful to see them together. They had actually been divorced for many years (and both had remarried others) when they worked on this. My mother was actually cast first and she recommended my father for the role (both had tremendous respect for each others talents). This is one of my favorite roles that my father played: long before he became famous for comedy, he was known for playing villains and this was a wonderful change of pace. Heartbreaking, however. ❤

I liked Roger Moore since his actings in Simon Templar to James and other assorted episodes
